Portland, Project MOBI, and a Comic-Shop Time Machine

A successful SAP launch gives way to Portland book malls, Bronze Age comics, Spider-Punk hunting, and a comic shop that feels preserved from 1989.

It took a while to find the location then the door but when I opened the door...it was a time machine to a comic shop ala 1989. Lovely owner and partner who were more than happy to talk and go find Spider Punk issues while I kept finding great cover after great cover in reader copy condition. All those comics were under $90 out the door. It was a Future Dreams good time! Portland, Oregon.

It's a book mall! New, used, antique, signed, every kind of book you can think of. Of course I lingered in the comics section and picked up a like new used copy of DC Through the 80's The End of an Era. Portland is comics friendly!!!
