As I near the retirement phase I have decided that it's time to let go of most of my comic collection. I have far too much to re-read everything and I don't want to leave all this stuff for my family to get rid of after I'm gone. Facebook Marketplace has been great since there is no shipping or long email chains to manage. I've started with the big HC books and converted the garage into a pop up comic shop. At the suggestion of my buyers I've added 1-2 and 3 dollar bins for people to dig through when they come to pick up their purchases. The results have been spectacular with most of the inventory moved during the first weekend. This weekend it's time to list more books and curated comic book sets. Of course I have 2 short boxes that I will keep but no more new physical comics or collected editions. The dog has caught the car!
