presents the Bay Area's community celebration of fireworks set to a World
Class Rock soundtrack. Two stages - 4 bands - including the return of
World Class Rock legend Steve Winwood.
Ready set go! It's summer or
at least it felt that way. Yesterday was an amazing day here in SF.
Picture perfect weather and a free concert plus fireworks. With my
trusty camera and man bag in tow I headed out into the warm sunshine to find
adventure. It found me. I made lots of new friends like Melissa
and Mubarak pictured below. San Francisco people are so friendly and
warm that even though I started the day alone it didn't last long. I
also met Heather a new transplant from Chicago. The concert was great
fun and I enjoyed the company and hospitality of my new friends.
The climax of the event was the fireworks show set to rock music. We headed back to my place to watch the show from my balcony and listen on my stereo. I love living downtown! The night wasn't over yet, next up off to the Mission district to visit the Oxygen bar. For more on the Oxygen bar click here.
