Well I guess I blew it. I thought I would be able to update and write while I was out of work but alas the demons of cable TV kept me off the keyboard. Anywho I am back to work and as you can see from the picture below I had a lot of repair work done. It turns out that I actually ruptured my Achilles tendon in a few different places.
Elmo Update:
Stacey brought me to Target this weekend to punish me and as I was tooling around in my little electric cart I saw this book. Apparently Elmo has reached puberty and he couldn't be happier, 'cause it is all about the size, even on Sesame Street.
Bad Product Names:
Here are few more items that struck me as just plain wrong in name or intention. Thanks Lizzie for helping us nurture the next generation of pole dancers and escorts.
No explanation required for this product, although it may sell quite well in SF.
Gotta love the camera phone since nothing can escape me now. Happy Holidays!
Old News:
The things you take for granted once over 40. Long story way short, pushing big weight with little old stick legs. POP! I'm down for a week of physical therapy and crutches. Lot's of time to write and do a little housekeeping here. Snowy is engaged, the Stones are coming to town, and Andy survived a hurricane, but more on that stuff later. First off I am officially the office gimp.
The leg is down for the next week except for visits to physical therapy and a return trip to the doctor to access progress. Best case is the week brings healing and improvement, worst case involves a late week MRI and a referral on to a specialist and perhaps surgery. I don't think it'll come to that because the leg can take weight and it shows improvements when I am off it for extended periods of time.
