31-City Summer Tour to Kick-Off with June 26 Hometown Show at San Francisco's Warfield Theater

In support of their new album 'My Private Nation' - set for June 3 release on Columbia Records - Train will embark on a 31-city headlining U.S. tour this summer. The tour will kick-off with a June 26 hometown show at San Francisco's Warfield Theater, and continue on to LA's Wiltern Theater on June 28.

San Francisco and Train go together like, well... uh?...Friends and fun, yeah that's it! Like it says above, the new tour kicked off right in my back yard. Night one had Snowy and K-Dog joining the usher ranks. Balcony duty for the first half then we all met downstairs for the big finish.

Night two and the band mixed up the set a bit. My co-worker Allison and her soon to be husband Barry worked the show as well as Faith and one her friends. Same band different party. The highlight of night two had to be the Aerosmith cover of "Dream On". They played it a few times last year for the outdoor shows but inside the small Warfield it thundered and soared. Everyone in the crowd was on their feet singing along "...Sing with me, sing for the years, sing for the laughter, sing for the tears..."

Train has left the station for now. Now it's your turn to see them. Send me your Train tales and pictures and I'll put them up on the website. Stay turned for more concert updates. Up next Spoon at the Fillmore and later this summer Reggae on the River (Year 2 for Leftcoast).

Peace and more music,
Sean
