Well it took the biggest fakest city in the world to
distract me enough to write a little after laughing a lot.
Business brought me here and so I decided to fly Stacey in for a little
birthday bruh -ha-ha for the off hours! While I toiled away watching slide sets and
exchanging business cards Stacey lounged at the Hard Rock pool. In
the evenings we tried to sample both the highlights and a few low
lights. Something for everyone so to speak. I've provided a
few links and our photo album if you must dig deeper.
Bikini Jell-O Wrestle mania: The best
spent $5 ever! Biker fest was in full swing downtown so since we
roll like that we grabbed a cab and hit the fest. The welcome
event was only $5 for a series of three round single matches followed by
a grand mêlée finale that left the crowd and contestants covered in
green Jell-O. Of course there were plenty of Jell-O shots for the
spectators.
Da Strip and NY NY:
As close to NY as I have been in almost 2 years...
Downtown: This is where it
began and this is where we almost eneded. The cab ride back from
here found us huddled and scared as we hit 110 on the 15. Our
driver actually scattered guests as he hit the horn and gas as we
carreened into the hotel entrance. The Jello-O shots had done
their job.
Birthday Wish: A romantic ride through the chlorinated water of the
Venetian canals. A young man sang Italian love songs and happy
birthday to us as we enjoyed a bit of peace and serenity.
